A HUGE shout out to our wonderful coaches... and Hello to Aly, one of our Dance instructors for 2021.

Aly has always felt strongly about inclusion and equality so when the opportunity became available to be a Special Olympics Dance Coach she jumped at the opportunity.

During the day Aly works in childcare taking care of babies and toddlers and is also undertaking a Bachelor of Social work to move into a career aimed at really helping the community.

hi is the actual sports like dance swimming and basketball get cancelled from corona virus if that's right or not

In case you did not receive an email ..📢 Important Information 📢

We’ve made an important announcement to protect our athletes in relation to the coronavirus.

Special Olympics Australia recommends that our members and clubs postpone all existing training, competitions and other events until further notice.

We recognise the unique context associated with providing services for people with intellectual disabilities and have taken this decision after careful consideration and balancing the benefits, risks and mitigation options.

Importantly, planning for the scheduled 2020 Junior National Games in October at Launceston will continue in the expectation that the Games will proceed as planned.
